CONSIDER JAPANESE MARKETS FOR SOLOMON ISLANDS PRODUCTS

It would have been an eventful and joyful occasion last week when the West Makira village community at Tawaiabu received their very first piped water supply.

The water supply had been made possible with a project funded by the Japanese Grassroots and Human Security Projects Scheme.

At a cost said to have been S$521,511 the project saw the installation in the village of a 3,000 gallon cement water tank, 18 stand pipes, and a number of PVC pipes.
