The reported success of the Taskforce Janus, a partnership between the Ministry of Police and Ministry of Finance, set up to specifically target fraud within the Solomon Islands public service has resulted in some notable arrests and clearly enabled the police to make those arrests supported by real evidence of a paper trail supplied from the records of the Ministry of Finance.
