The reported news that the Bita’ama community in the Solomon Islands wants to establish a dolphin preservation area comes as welcome news and, if successfully managed, it could turn the concept into a profitable tourist venue and aid the community financially.
The killing of dolphins has been wildly condemned over the years and is hearting to know the North Malaita community is now intent on the preservation and showcasing of such intelligent and special sea creatures.
