I am very pleased to learn that the Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO of the United Nations has signed an agreement with the Solomon Islands Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock to aid sustainable agriculture and rural development.
With the establishment of a country office the FAO will be better placed to give technical support to local policy makers and advise on best practices for food production.
