Letter to the Editor of the Solomon Star Newspaper.
In his closing address at the 3rd PIDF in Suva, Fiji, this week the Prime Minister, Hon.Manasseh Sogavare, reminded his audience of the importance of the forthcoming Paris conference on climate change and said the outcome must be ambitious and legally binding within the context of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, one which obliges major emitters to reduce their emissions to restrain global temperatures change below 1.5 degrees.
