RED CROSS PRAISED FOR CLEANING AUKI CLINIC

“The nurse in charge of the Auki clinic Sam Ottoga has thanked the Solomon Islands Red Cross Auki branch for engaging in a clean-up campaign at the Auki clinic over the weekend.

“Mr. Ottoga said Auki clinic staff walked into the clinic premises on Monday morning and were impressed with the clean environment.

“I would like to thank Auki Red Cross for organizing the clean-up campaign which uplifts the face of the clinic.

“This is just the second group to have cleaned up the clinic in many years and we are grateful for the effort shown to try to keep the clinic clean,” Ottoga added.

“The first group to have cleaned the Auki clinic was Youth@work.

“Mr. Ottoga said a tidy and clean environment is important for a place that provides health services to the public.

“Auki clinic staff are appealing for NGOs and community groups who wish to do voluntary clean up at the clinic premises to do so during weekends.”
