Solomons PM confirms 2023 Games support from Taiwan
Quoting the Solomon Star newspaper – 28 May 2018
“FUNDING arrangement for the Pacific Games 2023 with Taiwan has been sealed.
“This came after Prime Minister Rick Houenipwela successfully negotiated the arrangement with the Taiwanese President during his bilateral talk with President of Taiwan Dr Tsai Ing-Wen this week.
“A statement from the Prime Minister Press Secretariat last night said, Prime Minister Houenipwela has confirmed the funding arrangement for the Pacific Games 2023 with President of Taiwan Dr Tsai Ing-Wen.”
