For any ‘outsider’ reading that in 2017 in a province of the Solomon Islands when substantial medical aid in terms of funding and medical supplies has been constantly given by countries such as Australia, New Zealand, Japan and the Republic of China (ROC), it is incredible and hard to believe that up to 7000 people have no access to medical services.  Even worse to have to believe that communities around Tatamba ward are having to travel 200 miles by canoe to access health service at Poro clinic.
