Global summit calls for more climate change financing

�The leaders of nearly 50 governments are calling for more international climate change financing for vulnerable countries.
�The declaration by leaders of the Climate Vulnerable Forum came out of the Virtual Climate Summit hosted by the Marshall Islands on Thursday.
�Forty-eight member states said there needed to be a more ambitious global response to climate change.
�They said urgent action was needed to expand flows of public and private climate finance to countries in need.
�In a separate statement, the countries said climate-related expenditure needed to be made more accountable for donors and recipients.�
