Speaking at a meeting at the Heritage Park Hotel in Honiara on Tuesday this week, Dr. Paul Holden, a leading economist and the Team Leader of the Pacific Private Sector Development Initiative (PSDI), said the Solomon Islands is one of the leading reformers in the Pacific, resulting in growth for a period of 10 years of more than 3 percent.
Dr. Holden explained the country had led reforms in a number of different areas, promoting access to finance, making it easier to register a business, improving the performance of State Owned Enterprises and bringing more women in the formal economy.
