I would like to express my thanks to the British High Commission in the Solomon Islands, in collaboration with the Commonwealth Foundation, for having flown three teachers from the UK in order to pilot human rights education in schools and with a wider aim of impacting the need for human rights in local communities and promoting respect for women, including reducing violence and improving the quality of life of women throughout the nation.
