JAPAN SIGNS THREE NEW CONTRACTS TO AID THE SOLOMON ISLANDS

Japan signs three projects in Solomon Islands

Quoting the Island Sun newspaper – 18 January 2018

“THE Embassy of Japan yesterday officially signed three grant contracts to construct two classroom buildings and one community hall for three successful recipients.

“The recipients were Kaotave Vocational Rural Training Centre, Varu Primary school in Kolobangara and Western provincial Disaster Management Office for Titiana community hall and evacuation centre.

“The signing was done between Ambassador Shigeru Toyama and the representatives of the three beneficiaries.

“Speaking at the signing ceremony yesterday, Mr Toyama said the government of Japan in Solomon Islands is pleased to contribute to the development for the people of this country.”
