Koete RTC launches wind mill project

Quoting the Solomon Star newspaper – 14 March 2018

“BISHOP Koete Rural Training Centre (RTC) at Taroniara in Ngella, Central Province over the weekend took ownership of a newly installed wind mill project funded by New Zealand.

“High Commissioner of New Zealand in the Solomon Islands, His Excellency Don Higgins was the guest of honour at the official launching program.

“New Zealand is not new to Solomon Islands, it is a long time friend of this country,” Mr Higgins said.

“He added that he is happy with the project and hope it benefited the centre and its students.

“We will continue to support Solomon Islands with such project to benefit its people.”

“Principal of the Centre Casper Kuria said that the windmill project has made changes so far to the lives of the students.

“Bishop Koete centre is operating under the Anglican Church of Melanesia (ACOM).”
