SI Tourism to benefit
Munda Airport in the Western Province of the Solomon Islands is set to get extensive improvements after New Zealand and the Solomon Islands signed a co-funding agreement to upgrade the airport to emergency alternative international status.
The Agreement was signed in Honiara on Wednesday by the New Zealand High Commissioner to Solomon Islands, Marion Crawshaw, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Finance and Treasury Harry Kuma and senior Government officials from the Ministry of Communication and Aviation and Ministry of Infrastructure Development.
