Letter to the Editor, Island Sun Newspaper.
In a letter I contributed to your newspaper on Wednesday, 12 October, I mentioned the Federal German Government had contracted to fund and supply Tonga’s main hospital with a solar power installation to be completed in 2017.
I drew something of a comparison, albeit briefly, with the solar power needs of the Solomon Islands and commented that I felt we (the Solomon Islands) were rather missing out in getting solar power projects funded and technically supported by the major donor players in the field of aiding climate change and renewable energy solutions.
