In his opening address at the start of yesterday’s workshop to consider ideas and gain information on practices experienced in neighbouring countries in creating Independent Commissions Against Corruption, the Prime Minister told his audience the Solomon Islands Government is a State party to the United Nations Convention against Corruption, generally referred to as UNAC and had signed the Convention as early as 2012.
